A GREAT COMPANY WITH A GREAT STAFF
I started remodeling homes in 1978. I briefly worked for a company in Waukegan and that led me to Lakeland Building Supply. At 19, I started working for myself and I did not have any credit history! Pete worked with me in the early years as I purchased roofing, insulation, siding and gutters. As I expanded I started building homes and bought all my cabinets and countertops and siding from Lakeland. My son got stuck with a half built house when housing crashed!!! Pete Ecklund worked with him until the banking issues were resolved. Last year I finally had my first mistake from Lakeland with a countertop. I stopped in with drawings to resolve the issue. Lakeland corrected the design and expedited the rebuild at no cost to my company. That's 36 years of doing business together with 1 mistake!!! You cannot find companies like this anymore. And that is why I would highly recommend Lakeland Building Supply for all your remodeling needs. Many of the faces I saw when I walked into their showroom in 1979 still greet you today and they know their business!
